Cancellation & Refund Policy
REFUND, RETURN, CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
Last Updated: 04.06.2026
At Mudberry Studio, our products are handmade and our workshops, courses, and studio sessions involve advance reservation of studio space, materials, and resources. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order, booking a workshop, or enrolling in a course.
1. WORKSHOP CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Participants may cancel their workshop or studio session booking and receive a refund only if the cancellation request is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.
No refunds shall be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session, missed sessions, no-shows or partial attendance.
Approved refunds shall be processed through the original mode of payment within a reasonable period.
2. WORKSHOP RESCHEDULING
Participants may request rescheduling of their workshop or studio session booking provided the request is made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled session.
The following conditions shall apply:
- Rescheduling is permitted only once per booking.
- The rescheduled session must be attended within 30 days from the original booking date.
- Failure to attend the rescheduled session shall result in forfeiture of the booking amount.
3. COURSE FEES, CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Upon enrolment and payment of the course fee:
- Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- No refund shall be provided in the event of withdrawal, discontinuation, absence, partial attendance, or inability to complete the course.
- Missed classes or sessions shall not be eligible for refund, adjustment, credit, or compensation.
- Make-up sessions, transfers, or rescheduling of missed course sessions shall be at the sole discretion of Mudberry Studio and are not guaranteed.
- A participant's inability to attend one or more sessions shall not entitle them to a partial refund of the course fee.
By enrolling in a course and making payment, the participant acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
4. WORKSHOP & COURSE EXPERIENCE
Mudberry Studio workshops, courses, and studio sessions are intended to provide a creative, educational, and experiential environment for exploration and learning.
Participation does not guarantee any particular artistic outcome, skill level, finished product, certification, business outcome, or result. Individual outcomes may vary based on personal effort, attendance, experience, practice, and the inherent nature of the materials involved.
5. CERAMIC PROCESS & FINISHED PIECES
Workshop and course pieces undergo drying and firing processes that are subject to the natural behaviour of clay and ceramic materials.
Approximate timelines are:
- Bisque-fired pieces: approximately 10 days
- Glazed pieces: up to 1 month
These timelines are indicative only and may vary depending on drying conditions, weather, kiln schedules, studio workload, and other factors inherent to the ceramic process.
Participants are responsible for contacting Mudberry Studio before visiting for collection to confirm whether their pieces are ready.
6. NATURAL RISKS OF CLAY & FIRING
While every reasonable care is taken throughout the making, drying, glazing, and firing process, clay and ceramics involve inherent risks.
Cracking, warping, shrinkage, glaze variations, colour variations, breakage, or other unforeseen outcomes may occur during drying or firing and are considered a natural part of the ceramic process.
Such occurrences shall not be considered defects, and participants shall not be entitled to refunds, replacements, credits, or compensation in relation to such outcomes.
7. COLLECTION OF FINISHED PIECES
Participants are requested to collect their finished pieces within 90 days from the workshop or course date.
Mudberry Studio reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, donate, or otherwise deal with any uncollected pieces after this period without further notice or liability.
8. PRODUCT RETURNS & DAMAGED DELIVERIES
As our products are handmade, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once an order has been delivered.
Returns, exchanges, or refunds shall not be accepted on account of variations in colour, texture, glaze, finish, shape, dimensions, markings, or other characteristics arising from the handmade nature of the product.
However, if a product is received in a damaged condition due to transit, customers must notify Mudberry Studio within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:
- the outer packaging,
- the shipping label, and
- the damaged product.
Customers are requested to inspect their parcel immediately upon delivery and before disposing of the original packaging.
Upon review and verification of the claim, Mudberry Studio may, at its sole discretion, provide a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for review.
9. ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
Custom-made, personalized, commissioned, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has commenced.
Mudberry Studio reserves the right to cancel any order due to product unavailability, pricing errors, payment issues, suspected fraudulent activity, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In such cases, any amount received shall be refunded.
